Tanya holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Crown College and a Master of Arts in Human Services with an emphasis in forensic mental health from Concordia University. She has provided therapy in both residential substance use treatment settings and outpatient mental health care, supporting clients with a wide range of concerns. Tanya primarily works with adults 18 and older navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, interpersonal challenges, stress management, self‑esteem concerns, trauma, substance use disorders, and other behavioral addictions, including extensive experience treating sex addiction.

She will work with individuals who have been incarcerated or involved with the courts in various ways.

Tanya uses a variety of approaches that best serve her client’s needs. She approaches the therapeutic relationship through a client-centered lens, meeting them where they are to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. Tanya focuses on a client-centered approach along with CBT, and skills from both acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT); and accelerated resolution therapy (ART).
