ABOUT KRISTI
I am a compassionate psychotherapist with 14 years of experience working with individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with feeling safe, understood, and respected.
I have experience helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, personality disorders, relationship concerns, family dynamics, crisis situations, and the lasting impact of unmet childhood needs. Through inner child work, clients can explore how early experiences influence present-day emotions, behaviors, relationships, and beliefs about themselves.
My therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, trauma-focused interventions, and relationship-based work. I also have extensive experience conducting assessments and providing crisis intervention. I tailor treatment to each person’s individual needs, strengths, goals, and life experiences.
I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can gain insight, develop practical coping skills, strengthen relationships, heal emotional wounds, and build a healthier, more fulfilling life.
