ABOUT RACHELLE
Rachelle has experience working with individuals navigating substance use concerns,
mental health challenges, life transitions, and difficulties related to stress, relationships,
and self-esteem. Prior to becoming a counselor, she served in the military, where she
gained firsthand insight into the unique mental health and substance use challenges
faced by service members and veterans.
Rachelle takes a person-centered approach to therapy and believes in meeting clients
where they are. She works collaboratively with clients to identify goals that align with
their values, whether that involves harm reduction, abstinence, improving emotional
well-being, strengthening relationships, or navigating life’s challenges. Drawing from
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational
Interviewing, and strengths-based approaches, she helps clients build practical skills,
increase self-understanding, and create meaningful, lasting change within a supportive
and nonjudgmental environment.
